Braun Silk Epil 7 Epilator & Wet and Dry Shaver Review

Braun Silk Epil 7 Epilator & Wet and Dry Shaver
Hi beauties!
I've recently been trying out this Braun cordless epilator* with 6 attachments as I'd never tried an epilator before and it seemed like a much more convenient way of removing hair. It definitely went a lot better than I thought it would!

My Thoughts...
I was really amazed with this epilator. I had heard so many people comment on the fact that it's quite painful because unlike the quickness of waxing for example, it does take significantly longer to remove individual hairs, BUT, I thought it was quite pain-free! You do get the odd almost like zap/pluck feel, but it really is painless. The pain-free aspect is probably due to the Silk Epil's high frequency massage which massages the skin to stimulate the skin and soothe the plucking sensation during epilation to maximise comfort. The Silk Epil also has 2 speed settings so that you can have the most comfortable epilation and a smart light is also an extremely helpful feature which ensures you don't miss any hairs!

The process of doing one leg or one arm doesn't have to be lengthy, especially as I learned one little trick that makes the process quicker. Instead of starting off by plucking against the direction of hair growth, move the epilator in the same direction as the growth as this will allow you to remove longer hairs first in one go. Then, pluck against the hair growth and all other hairs should be removed in one or two goes. The beauty of this epilator is that it removes REALLY short hairs so you don't have to walk around looking like big foot for weeks until your hairs have grown back.

The Silk Epil also comes with a wet and dry shave attachments which is really handy if you're going travelling or if you just want to trim some hairs - plus, it's always helpful to have a dry shaver around in case you don't feel like getting in the shower to shave. In addition, this fabulous edition of the Silk Epil I have been fortunate enough to try out also comes with a deep pore cleansing facial brush. With 2 speeds, this brush offers a dry and wet use perfect for giving your face that extra makeup removal cleanse whilst in the shower - super handy and a definite must have if you've never used a facial brush before.

Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who wants a quick and convenient way to remove unwanted hair. Whether it's from the legs, arms, bikini line, facial, the Silk Epil has been made to be able to epilate every part of the body in the most comfortable way possible. The additional facial brush and wet and dry shave extras are perfect for convenience, or for offering this as a gift, especially as we're coming up to Christmas soon :O. I was very impressed, and have now made the Silk Epil 7 one of my ultimate beauty holy grails.
